BI-FAB shipyard require Part 2-or advanced scaffolders , £14.98 per hour, on going contract, work until 2016, holiday time to finalised, overtme £19.56 weekdays, £26.97 weekends, travel per day if you live 50miles away towards digs or petrol. Working there just now, won a lot of new contracts, need to double the scaffolding workforce but struggling, the jobs **** but defo money to be made, especially for the travelling man

Get your cv into nrl Falkirk and go-escape livingstone to give yourself more chance
 
I have sent in my cv twice not heard anything and I've sent to nrl and go escape still nothing no sure what's happening !!!
 
Im The Same Chaps, Sent Cvs To Nrl Got Mates In There And Still Diddly Squat, Will Just Have To Wait And See.
 
Spoke to nrl, there waiting for client to release the work then will be manning up.
 
Nrl always say that, said it to me for months even though a knew guys were starting every week in there from mates that already worked in there
 
Is it drug and alchol testing on there? As I work with a couple of dope heads u see haha
 
No mate, check your sight, hearing etc before you start, only test you if your involved in an accident or you look like your out your nut haha
 
Spoke to nrl this morning, all manned up apparently for the time being

Alrite lads,

6 scaffs just started at Burntisland last Monday, couple of them mates of mine, you need to know somebody in the yards to speak to Rab hay at methil or Davie burn at Burntisland for you then they put your name forward to nrl, escape or search who are all agencies if your expecting a call from the agency alone your chances are slim. I spent a few years at bifab previously and the money through umbrella was magic, good luck if you get a shout
 
Ok so the money is magic!!, but you'll need someone to put a word in for you ..Sounds like a waste of f**k'n time applying for this job, I thought they were flooding this job?? and screamin out for scaff's ...there are lads out here looking and waiting to get on to this job. Story I heard from Robert Fyffe @ NRL, was all the CV'S had been handed across to bi-fab for reviewing....usual agency Bullsh*t and messing guys about. I think these agencies should be more on top of this and be able to report back to the guys with any updates on starts etc.
Ahhh!! well back offshore for me ...Ramm this!!.
 
:mad:Ive been waiting for weeks now and still heard diddly squat!!, I know lads up there whos put recommendations in but still waiting. Its as you boys say- its the usual agency ******** who put a bad taste in peoples mouths
