Reporting to Scaffolding Manager, the purpose of the role will be to erect, adapt and dismantle scaffold structures securely.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
Make adequate provision for the safety of themselves, the work force, the public affected by scaffolding work and any future users of the scaffold structure by working to the relevant British and European standards, NASC guidelines and Statutory Regulations.
Select serviceable scaffold tubes, boards and fittings. Use correctly and safely.
Select, inspect, assemble and install prefabricated beams into and onto scaffold structures.
Position hoists and erect hoist tower correctly.
Support scaffold protection fans by tubes and wires according to requirements of TG 20.
Erect scaffolds on pavements and public places safely and correctly with regard to Local Authority regulations.
Install spurs and rakers within the correct operating angles.
Attach check fittings, droppers and puncheons in the correct positions to scaffolds.
Skills / Experience: CISRS Scaffolder Card
SG4 – attest version
TG20 – Latest version
Other Certificates of competence.
Full U.K. Driving Licence, ideally able to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle
Hours of work: 0600 - 1800 45hr week
