Scaffolders have been ordered to remove a giant Union Flag from Colston Tower in Bris

What a shower of sh1te bags, I think it looks magic.
 
Yeah seen sumit else like that but a pic if wat the flats would look like all covering the scaffold look real smart

This is nothing new.
You will find out these councils and associations who order the removal of the union flag in the past will back down if you tell them to stuff it.
Such as the case of our local taxi firm who was told by the council to remove the union flag from the side of their doors.
The owner of the firm told the council where to go in no uncertain terms and the publicity against the council was so effective, that 5 councillors were forced from office.

The best way to fight this lot is use the threat of the press against them and watch them turn tail.
Back down and they will demand more.
 
to use the excuse it was the wrong colour,the colour of the netting had nothing to do with it.the fact it was a union jack is the reason it came down.
it came down incase it"offended"someone.
there are young men fighting under that flag and dying for these clowns in council offices and political party offices

While I agree with you buddy, I don't think that applies in this case. I didn't read anyway, to my surprise, that any council busybodies were involved. This was the site management who didn't like the idea of someone doing something without permission.

It's a bit more simply someone having a powertrip by the sounds of it, "someones done something without my permission, Im not having it" :suspicious:
 
the builder has shat himself when he seen a giant union flag made out of debri netting.he just hasnt got the bottle to even admit thats the reason because they knew it would make the papers.:mad
the council would have made them pull it down regardless:mad::
 
Its the sad sad world we now live in. It looks awesome and i bet the public thought so too. Bloody do gooders!
