9 quid an hour wat planet are these firms on, they are taking the fuking piss, i bet the philopeno's would'nt even work for that. this recession is killing everyone that labour goverment, why dont they try and live on 9 quid an hour.
 
after 30+ years in the game id rather hang up the spanners than work for that
 
why cant we have a wage structure,if your a labourer £8 an hour,if part one £10 an hour,part two £14 an hour ,and advanced minimum £18 an hour,then we will be somewere near were a fair wage would be tolerable.
it seems like we are being held to ransom at both ends of the sxxt stick,being told how to do our job,and how much we will be paid.i move to get the minimum wages for all scaffs.

9 quid an hour thats a joke how are you going to get good scaffolders on the job when firms are not willing to pay a good hourly rate, firms are dropping there rates because they can pick and chews who they like because they no there is not much work about.. ARSEHOLES..........
 
It's not firms paying rubbish money, its they are to worried about taking you on. So they go to these agencies,they get the good money and pay the monkies who will work for it s**t money .Or not ! Whos the fool.

Agencies use to say to firms its going to cost you x per hour for scaffolders now firms are telling agencies how much they want to pay not the other way round, good agencies are refusing to lower there rates and still getting work in.

A lot of these vacancies are just agencies testing the water to see if they can get men to work on lower rates to undercut there competitors :mad:
