An opportunity has arisen for a General Scaffold Foreman at Clair Ridge, in order to support the project team.

Job Title: Scaffold Supervisor ( General Foreman)

Reporting to Offshore Coordinator & Project Manager

UK Offshore / Aberdeen / BP Operations

An opportunity has arisen for 2 x Scaffold General Foremen to join the Clair Ridge Hook Up and Delivery Team. The positions will initially be based in HHI Yard in Ulsan, Korea on a 6/2 rotation up until sail way of modules where then the individuals will then be based in Aberdeen up until the construction activities begin in the West of Shetland, where then an offshore rotation will commence.

Key Objectives and Expectations

HHI Yard

Familiarize and verify all Rev C1 Work Pack scaffold scope for each individual module and interface and report back to Cape Offshore Coordinator , Project Manager and Scaffold Work Pack Engineer reporting all positive and negative growth that needs to be captured in Rev C2 Work Packs.Coordinate and manage all scaffold materials that will be delivered to Korea for any potential yard scope that may be carried out also identifying suitable scaffold storage areas within each module where scaffold can be stored for the duration of the voyage from Korea to West of ShetlandCoordinate and deliver all potential yard scaffold scope that may be required. This will mean managing an ADHOC scaffold team that will be mobilized to erect various make safe scaffolds and designed scaffold lay down platforms on each module before sail away.

Aberdeen

Familiarize all oncoming scaffold personnel with all offshore scope during induction processDevelop all scaffold work permits within ISSOW in readiness of offshore executionCoordinate shipping of all scaffold materialsAssist in up-revving of scaffold work packs ensuring that all positive and negative growth has been captured

Offshore Hook Up

Supervise and motivate the team.Support the Offshore Project Managers in the discharge of their dutiesEnsure all operations are carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations and that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the permit.Conduct toolbox talks and pre-job safety briefs.Ensuring routine maintenance examinations are carried out on plant and equipment and that the equipment is promptly serviced when necessary.Control the labour force and ensure that all activities are strictly in accordance with the site requirements.Liaise on a daily basis with the Foreman and keep them fully informed of all operational requirements and ensure adequate resources are made available.Ensuring high standard of work is met and quality is maintained and in accordance with specification.Monitor the workforce and record all work done.Control and continual assessment of the operatives experience and development.Ensure subordinate assessment process is completed and returned to HR for review and inclusion in personnel files.Carry out reporting duties as directed by the Offshore Project ManagerEnsure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained.

These activities are the minimum leadership expectations out with specific discipline knowledge

Individuals should have strong construction background with project or hook up experience in a supervisory position. Key representative of the Cape Offshore Management Team Driving positive safety behaviours and always setting exemplary personal standards Visible leadership at worksite on planned and regular basis Ensure all works executed in line with company CMS procedures All works completed to plan with accurate recording of any delays or variations Motivate and create trusting relationships with direct reports Manage timekeeping and productivity of direct reports Presents a positive attitude towards client contacts Gets on board with Cape agenda Ensures weekly inspection of all scaffolds are carried out.
