Job: Estimator (Construction)
Date: Immediate start
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Across London and the Essex areas
Our client are an Established and extremely busy Scaffolding company, specialising in commercial and residential refurbishment and new build projects, are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator for their growing business. Based in Essex, they are successful and have a fantastic reputation for quality work which they carry out across London and the Essex areas.
The role will include the following tasks:
· Initial site visits to price up for potential works to meet and fulfil the clients’ direct requirements
· Collating information from material suppliers and sub-contractors in order to prepare accurate and competitive tenders
· To provide a detailed schedule of works for each project
We’d like to see the following skills:
· Good eye for detail
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Highly organised and efficient
· Recognised construction/quantity surveying qualification to HND level or above
· Advanced computer literacy including estimating software and Excel
· At least 5 yrs. relevant experience within the UK and proven track record of similar projects
· Clean driving license
· Currently in Similar Role – performing estimating of Scaffolding Jobs.
May also suit experienced Scaffolders with proven experience in pricing up large commercial jobs
