Description: My Client are a well known Scaffolding and Access Contractor in the South of the UK, established over 40 years ago they specialise in fixed site construction projects. Due to an expansion of their business in recent years they require the presence of an in-house designer, with a good range of specialist temporary works design experience. There will be a continuing site presence associated with this opportunity and whilst it is an office based design role you will spend time out on sites regularly, due to this, experience of site surveys would be an advantage.
As an existing Design Engineer you will have a range of proven experiences and be able to provide a service capable of signing off of Design Calculations. Ideally individuals will come from a Scaffold and Access design background having already practiced and become an expert in the field. Individuals will have a demonstrable working knowledge of AutoCAD, having the ability to understand the scaffold requirements of a projected scheme, articulating these in design form and presenting them effectively to both Clients and in-house contracting staff.
