Description The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Coordinating the erection and dismantling of working platforms.

Responsibilities:
- To ensure adherence to the Company Policy, procedures and Yard Agreement.
- Quality, safety, health and environmental awareness (e.g. responsible for own and others safety).
- To perform tasks which may be requested by Management.
- Be responsible for general good housekeeping and safe working practices in the workshop and on facility.
- To perform tasks delegated by Production Management.
- To monitor production hours.
- To participate in the monthly supervisors SHE Inspections.
- To identify potential hazards and discuss them during the JSA when giving out the days work.
- To stimulate personnel in quality, Safety, health and environmental awareness thinking by facilitating training as well as a consistent control regime.
- To ensure correct implementation of the company quality, safety, health and environmental policy within the company and verify that the company quality, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
- To ensure that procedures are maintained.
- To identify and report possible quality and safety problems to the Production Management and recommend possible solutions for such problems.
- To co-ordinate activities within his discipline.
- To assist with the determination of fabrication sequences.
- To participate in Root Cause Analysis accident investigations where the incident is relevant to their trade.
- To perform Safety Intervention Discussions (SIDs) providing that training has been completed.
- Individual risk awareness within job role.
- To take part in Risk Assessment
- Cable Management and housekeeping

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Successful SHE Induction.
- Technical school for vocational training, basic level qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a production employee in the applicable discipline.
- An understanding of company Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental systems and programmes.
- Communicate in a positive manner with sub-ordinate staff and departmental managers.
- Planning and Organisational skills that enable the implementation of the company strategy.
- Computer literate

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Root Cause Analysis Training Desirable.
- Safety Intervention Discussion Training (SID).
