Incredible how the scaffold folded upon itself!
Think non scaffold people are oblivious to the effect sheeting can have on scaffold in high winds
 
I reckon if it had been tube and fitting scaffold,it would still be up,never thought layer was safe,proof indeed.
 
WHEN it happens here (Denmark), it's nearly always frame systems, so Layher frames or some other frame system. When single standard systems are used, I have hardly seen it happen.
lots of frame scaffs survive storms, but they sure need some more attention and TLC to make it, than all-round.
Still, something makes me think that it had been a tad dodgy to begin with...the girder extravaganza on the gavel looked a bit like a coincidental design.... :lol:
 
Wow that's some crazy wind damage!
I pity the men who take down the rest.
