scaffold books history/origin

Hi folks I am currently studying a Bsc hons in civil engineering as part of the final year I need to do a dissertation my chosen topic is 'corrosion of aluminium scaffold beams in a marine environment' within the dissertation I plan to talk about the history and origin of scaffolding but I am struggling to find information which can be referenced.
I have read the sticky on scaffold origin found it very informative.
Does anyone know of any published info which would help?

try Access Scaffolding by S Champion should be available through ICE or CIOB library. Stewart was the engineering director at SGB when it was a proper company. Good luck on the degree.
