I heard this years ago. Its still surprising how many people cant work it out.

Your on top of a 300' building but its on fire and you cant get down the stairs or lift.

You have a 300' piece of rope (lol) and a 13' board

How will you get down?

Maybe this is too simple for most people her but still good to get some people scratching their heads.
 
Hang the board 2 ft over edge aint it ?
 
duno about 2' but 4x the thickness and tie the rope to it and absail down lol. Wouldnt fancy doin it for a laugh though.
 
Tie the rope round yur ankle,tie it off to a door handle or something solid like,:rolleyes:hold the board in the middle to form wings,take a long run and glide down. If that fails the rope will stop you from hitting the ground.:eek: I seen some ov them africans doing this on telly once:cool:
 
leave a good 7' of board hanging over the hand rail and tie the rope to your feet and bungeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

BOMB the board onto the pavement to get someones attention , when the fire brigade turn up lower the rope and pull up the firemen one at a time , then they can put out the fire while you pull up 8 cans of Kestral super and then Sun news paper and just chill ;)

Good idea scaffcon...except ya cant bungee off a rope.lol
 
phillios ......... you sure about the kestral mate everyone knows you can get 3 litres of white lightening cheaper than a 4 pack of kestral
