Hi Guys,
Im new here, and found you whilsts bummin around in Cyprus.
Unfortunately ive been offered a jb in Jeddah and Jubail and am leaving here to go in a week ish.
Heres an outside chance...... does anyone have a copy of the Saudi Aramco Scaff Handbook.
Anyway, nice to meet you all and ill keep in touch to let you know how it is over there.

hi, gives a shout if need anything mate i am in Jubail/Ras Tanura 3 year now. i am with Cape but Aramco will be a good job for ya, what position will you be in and where assigned ? in the Terminal or the Training Center.

you will be ok there mate i know most of the guys in there, about 6 Brits, once ya get there look for Jim or Dave they have my number we were in the same camp for two years, also Malcolm is there he does Scaffolding/Rigging training he is a good old boy to.

ps ; pack a few jerseys its cold the now and the rain will come soon to. iam going home Jan 6th for 3 weeks.

Its not all that bad out here is it! once you get past the arabs general iggnorance!

im in saudi jumping between Jeddah-Yanbu with HARSCO (SGB formally)

If u have nice accomodation its half the battle, and still get the scottish football,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,only thing missing is an ice cold fosters!!
 
need to get transfered to the east coast mate there is no sortage of beer and BBQ's here.over to Bahrain every weekend for a beano, well till the wife comes back then that will stop he he .
 
WGOGS......aye i bet it will! im nearly bottling my first homebrew cider so il see how it goes!! i was hopefully going to bahrain for a visa run this week but unfortunately they extended my visa:sad:

Ha yanbu is not too bad.......and the pakistani resturant is excellent says my waist-line!

Mr Booth was before my time, fortunately if i go by what ive heard!, and who shall i say is sending Mr Alif Zada regards?? He is now a area supervisor in jeddah-rabigh
