Safety Representative


Safety Representative required immediately for scaffold design/construction company working with clients including Balfour Beatty and Interserve.
Applicant must be well-versed in all areas of Health & Safety and will preferably hold the NEBOSH diploma.
This is a temporary post leading to a permanent post for the right candidate and will include a probationary period of 3 months.
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
Pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol tests will be required.

In my opinion if you halved it and then halved it again it will still be too much for some of these safety advisers who get the diploma but don't have any hands on construction or industrial trade experience.

That is true shame more scaffolders dont go down the learning route and get a diploma.

Even if a Scaffolder gained the Diploma, with the money they are offering for this job you'd be better off financially on the tools !

can not be that hard if poachers done it the thick cant ;) but no all credit to him the paper work would be feking head wreck but its the way forward now thie elf and saftey crack will ahve a whip at it me sell but only after av broke every rule in the book so its a case of do as i said and not as av done ad be a right cant lol
 
It is a joke mate for somebody at nebosh diploma level to take that would mean there either very desperate or not very good at there job

I pay a Lithuanian 18000 he's over the moon , our workers are there own worst enemy , they should be working for less and pressure the cheap labour market
 
ive got a nebosh construction nebosh general and tech iosh all passed with a credit last year been in this game twenty yrs was working offshore till yesterday till we got down manned off cape cause of the chopper accident now im unemployed again dplomas another grand to shell out and three years hard graft on the napper and theese offer you half salary of a scaffolder whats it all about alfie
 
What do u need ur iema cert for ...r u going into the green side of things

Already have NEBOSH Certificate , more and more places are asking for an environmental qualification and with more and more people moving into SHEQT its best to keep upto date with your training
 
FA to do with scaffolding but it probably is the way forward.
