Heard today Capes Scaffolding are taken over at Ratcliffe Power Station & are looking for 500 men. Any truth in these rumours???:huh:
 
That`s what i heard.. Gospel... C & D lost contract and capes taking over real big refurb
 
stop panicking lads cape will let you down you know every friday you will be banging on the supervisers office door because your wages are fucked the scaffolding world will be a better place when they go under .
 
Hi boys i me with capes had a 20n yr on off relationship with them nowts changed yer wages are stil fu....d up as for 500 men lol
 
Agree with you lads about the wages.
Have worked for them a few times and they just can't seem to get em right.
The wages lot seem to be law unto themselves !
 
good news c and d have lost ratcliffe,was there for a 3 stretch they made examples of good guys who didnt cross babcock picket line and promoted scabs who did,eddie curry took backhanders from guys for days off etc only the chosen few tho.hope they all struggle for work now no changing hats
 
mmm intresting post scaffking when you say eddie curry takes back handers is that across his kipper or across his arse explain yourself.
 
broughy,is that kev?u know what i mean broughy was one of the good guys who couldnt get back on cos he never sneaked in the back door when babcock were on strike,like a true gent he never crossed the picket line,but hes banned now for being a real scaff
