Just seen a post on scaffolding jobs (work over xmas ) and was dismayed at this half wit of a boy lapping up 100 + scaffs getting laid off a week before xmas. I phoned Forefront first thing this morning asking where abouts in Aberdeen the job was and was there any places left ,she replied yes but the jobs in Shetlands , I told her that id just been laid off from there and the site was in dispute hence the reason for the mass pay off, advised her of the backlash her agency would come in for if she sent scab labour up there,so she said she would speak to her director when he came in ,now we must give forefront the BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT JUST NOW ,but if they send boys up there in full knowledge of the situation ,Bad move .
 
He must be on his rag week mate.........but i agree if ffs send lads up there knowing the full extent of whats going on then i hope there ready for the ***** thats going to come there way.
 
I Saw These Posts Too Gents And To Say I Couldnt Quite Understand His Mental State Is An Understatement, Whatever Happened To Worker Solidarity, Hes The Type That Crosses A Picket Line Waving His Pay Packet At Men, It Takes All Sorts I Suppose. As For Forefront They Are First And Foremost An Agency And They Will Send Men Up There In The Full Knowledge Of This Dispute, I Can Only Hope The Scaffolders Who Go There See Sense And Do Not Cross Any Picket Line, If Forefront Do Send Scaffolders Up There They Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves And Be Shunned By Scaffolders , I Say Should Be But You Will Always Get Some Tosser Who Will Break Any Strike.
 
I was booked to go on a flight tomorrow to Shetland with Bilfinger for Forefront.
Was told nothing about any dispute I have found out they are paying of more men on Friday also the site is in caos due to management and conditions I say to those other 14 men due on 1700 flight abdn to sumbrugh flight Thursday be very weiry of why you have been choose to be given a golden egg right before Christmas ?

im up shetland,not on for bilfinger though but i know all the boys,one boy foned up forefront last thursday and told him hes getting paid off cause of big dispute and they said why dont you come down then go back up withoit letting all the boys know,they knew the script from day one. SCABS.
 
Jigga if thats the case they should be tard with that name for the rest of their days, thats a scummy move and shows blatant disregard for the men standing for what they are entitled to and the men who have been laid off. Shame on you forefront scaffolding scabs
 
Forefront are not looking good in this shoddy affair.
Tell all REALSCAFFS to backheel this as its a bad mark on your name and will follow you forever

Agree HSWT, just seen his apologies on the jobs section thread and he apologised on more than more than one ocassion,for that he must be applauded, as you say a few of us have had a wee drink sitting at the keyboard, and your mouth becomes non complient with rational...we,ve all done it, so fair play to the boy ....
 
Could some one explain wots been happenin up shetland havnt been on forum for a while so this is all new to me.also I hope if it is a picket situation that the lads hold firm and dont cross a picket. If they do it will haunt them for the rest of there lives.scaffolding is a very small world.
