Hi Ricky
I have worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and now off to Thailand next week. All or most of overseas positions have a minimum requirement CITB Advanced Inspector (piece of cake to pass) CITB Advanced scaffs ticket, NVQ Level 3, Oh and a laptop forget ya Elsie Tanners and Stabilla.(Though sometimes need to borrow one now and again) As the guys say in their replies, all overseas work is at the very least Supervisory level, however most the positions for expats roles are Superintendent, Instructor, Advisor or management levels, mainly due to in country visa applications and work permits and of course experience. My advice would be to get more experience at a minimum of Supervisor level b4 you start thinking about applying for overseas positions. The agencies will not put forward your CV to the clients only due to lack of experience in such roles. You could be the best twirler in the UK but without the minimum experperience at Supervisory level more than likely your CV will be put in the filling cabinet (The bin).
Sorry to be so straight forward but I hope this info helps you in your quest future overseas employment..
Good luck
Doddle.
