Reporting an agency?

Basically I'm fuming done a weeks work and they have told me that I won't get paid till next week as the firm in working for have sent the timesheets in too late apparently. Who could I report them to ie financial fair trade etc as I've work for them so I should be paid in my eyes cheers boys
 
Oh dear, bit of a fcuker that tbh ask them for an emergancy advance to tide you over- if they refuse or come out with 1001 excuses why they cant, I might be asking myself can I afford to stay- but if you get a start elsewhere your still gonna av 2 wait to get paid from them- so maybe no choice but to wait till next week & make sure it goes in on time as there'll be 2 wks pay you'll lose
 
I'm already sorted with a new start on Friday I've sent a email to the managing director saying I've spoken to ucatt and the REC so hopefully that will do it they say I'll get payed next week but really need it this week as bills coming out daz

Is there any authority I could call like for health and safety u would call the hse?
 
I would ring them every half an hour bob demanding your money........they'll soon get sick abd tired after a couple of hours abd they may fast track your money.

The agency should be able to get your hours verbally and contact your payroll company to authorise payment
 
Fingers crossed otherwise plan b is do the windows on last job lol or pop down there office in the strand Charing Cross

Cozzy I've sent an email to the MD saying I've spoken to ucatt and the recruitment and employment confederation ( rec ) which I believe they are a member of, but since then I've spoken to the acas and have said to quote " breach of contract " etc

The bird at the umbrella company has been great saying I should still get paid all they have to do is get confirmation as you said mate but the bird I spoke to Roberta the ****!!! Said that there payroll shuts off at 10 on a Tuesday so I have to wait till next week!!! Can I ask have you heard of the above authorities, mainly acas and rec? From what I can tell they have some clout

Borne ltd first time I've used them it's a shame the bloke i dealt with is pukka but on hols he would have sorted it but the rest ain't my cuppa tea to say the least Russ so I'm off tmrw sorting this nonsense out and starting what we talked about earlier Friday at least this one is done by the computer and emails times over at midnight on Sunday so no timesheet bollox for me thank fook!!

It's just that I finally got my self together after that scare with mum and now they have ****** things up for me! It's only a weeks money granted but Never in my life have I had this much responsibility at home money wise . with the 7day on new job I'll be sorted in a few weeks but gutted I am mate gutted :(

Bobby soz matey. Didn't realise u had probs with mum hopefully u get sorted soon bud. As well as things at home dosh wise. These fuuckers don't realise we've got fuucking bills to pay as well as other esentiials. Diickheads. Must admit never had any probs with my agencies. Hope u get sorted soon bud. N really hope ur mum is ok.

If they didn't pay you for the scaffold I don't expect they will pay you for cleaning the windows either Bobby:blink1:
 
Agency work is a fecking pain in the erse
You only get payed on what's on the time sheet,the amount of times it's cost me cash because I get a call last minute to travel that night and hey presto you end up with the same scenario you find yourself in Boab
The fact that you have to pay someone else 9out of 10 times to get the money you worked for is something the Victorian factory owners never even thought of

Cheers hap yes I will get all sorted for next week but the arrogance of the agency staff astounds me mate rude as fook!! And for the last 3 days I've been lead down the garden path by another agency regarding a job only to be told at 4 this afternoon nope there fully manned up for a few weeks sorry!!' To top things off I've got poor gunslinger involved and made me look a right **** feel awful even tho it wasn't my fault!!

Tbf I've had a right touch in the past with agencies but the last 2 months I've had nothing but probs naughty ones as well so that's put me off them for life so I should be starting at a nice little firm having spoken to a member fingers crossed no more paying to get paid no more umbrella exps no more paperwork and best of all more nonsense, just turn up,work, and get paid right and on time priceless

do a graft and get payed the next week HOW HARD COULD IT BE;)
 
Yep I'd be happy cis tbh as long as it's a firm

But I will say the only agency I do trust is js UK services the bloke in charge bill ( Wembley job I put up) is an absolute class act goes out of his way to look after the boys terrific fella
 
i would go down raging but hey thats just me marra. av herd of lads a t a firm i was working for in the past when they jacked just to **** them over he paid them on the friday after with a check in the post

vicrtorian factory owners never thought lol ahahia . i find agencys you end up with a better top line than on the books so its worth that 9 quicd to pay 100 less tax thats the way i see it
