riskdisk where sponsors once, not sure if they still are, but there are more firms about
they wont tell you if any company will go pop tommorow, but you can use them as a tool to judge the level of debt risk and make an informed choice

we did a quick check but the director has been involved in a lot of similar type companys some wound up and and some brankrupt
i know God loves a tryer but i dont want to end up with a headache:suspicious:
 
riskdisk was still giving Killby & Gayford a rating of 78K on the day they went into administration so says a lot

but yes i usually do director search see what firms they have been involved in
 
With this level of concern you must ask for 100% payment up front. With cheques, funds should be cleared to your bank before any works to commence. A Pro-forma invoice to be issued prior to their payment to include VAT.
