Quite a few people have been asking about how to get the BPSS clearance that is a big step to being authorised to work on a nuclear site. Here's how!
Step 1: Follow this link http://www.disclosurescotland.co.uk/basicdisclosu…/index.htm
The link is for Disclosure Scotland, which is a type of criminal records check. The check costs you £25 and should take about 14 days to arrive.
Step 2: Once you physically received the disclosure through the post, ensure that you are registered on the Cape website http://www.capeplc.com/ca…/opportunities/united-kingdom.aspx
You do not need to apply to a specific job, just register with the site.
Step 3: Come back to this webpage and post a comment on the page (over to the left of this post). PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS INFO UNDER AN ADVERT. The comment just needs to say that you have the disclosure and that you are registered with Cape. We will then contact you to put you in touch with one of our colleagues who will help you through the rest of the process to get BPSS clearance.
