We are a leading scaffolding contractor with many large construction projects across Kent. We have an excellent reputation for the work we carry out & are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to make the move up or move on. The company offer a great path with the security of working for one of South Easts most reputable Scaffolding Companies.

£40 - £50k per year including car + benefits
ROLE:
To work on schemes with a value of up to £3 million
You will be expected to work on projects across Kent occasionally tasked with attending site for meetings
Final accounts
Sub-contractors tendering
Sub -contractors payments
Cost plans
Valuations
Variations
Cost reporting
Reporting to the Managing Director
Must be highly motivated
Experience essential

CANDIDATE:
Have a proven and successful Quantity Surveyor background within the construction / scaffolding industry at least 3 years
Be based in proximity to South Kent
Ability to work on major developments & tower blocks
Strong commercial skills
Charterships are beneficial

Your vacancy has been advertised for some time now but in the past the wage scale was shown as £35k pa. I note you have reviewed this up to £50k and should now show positive results. London surveying roles have been advertised up to £70k earlier this year. Good luck.

Hi there, the earlier role was for an assistant quantity surveyor, whereas this position has now become a fully qualified surveyor that is required now. We are a local south east firm and are not looking for somebody from London but more local to us down in Thanet / Canterbury / Maidstone area so consider the salary to be more fitting for the area.
