one of our lorries got stopped yesterday and was told we could not have 21's hanging over the back and got done £100 because they could pull the 21 off the lorry. When we asked what to do about the overhang was told to get a longer lorry. I have gone through legislation and cannot find anywhere where is states you cannot have an overhanging load. Thoughts anyone.
The lorry is a 7.5t Mitsubishi Canter and if I have read lorry details right the cab and chassis weight total 2.360t meaning you can put over 4t of gear on the butt can anyone confirm this
