pudlock adaptors

does anyone know what sort of load a pudlock adaptor would hold
Philo, do you mean the adaptor that goes onto the end of a tube ?. If so I have a calc sheet that says, shear strength of 1.12kn. and must bear on wall at least 75mm.

why do brickies leave the holes?

you should never lay them on the top course? now there is a jar of worms:D

i was thinking of using them over a weak roof , then punch up 3 lifts , there are window sills further up which i can span a beam onto but i need to erect the 3 lifts first

Wot if you turn the puddies upside down are they the same strength still??

when we used putlock heads , used to rotate them to get the returns , never see them now other than the odd cash job blocker lift

I once asked a scaff to do this over the phone (when the thick cu nt couldnt stop the boards trapping) he couldnt grasp what i meant, he didnt last long, he said putlog was sh1t and left:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Do the brickies labourer still use them to beat the muck of the floor?
