Write lads hope you all had a good crimbo, whatever you were doing!
Can anyone tell me what the PTS course/certificate is?
Seen it a few times cropping up on ere but don't know what it is.
 
to work on/near railways wayne , if ure gonna do it shop around as prices vary
 
Stands 4personal track safety like hswt says shop around...there r 2types available pts and pts plus.alot of railway contractors prefer u 2 hav the plus version but 4scffolding purposes just a pts will b fine...the difference is the plus is a longer course more focused on actually working the railways..i.e re railing and maintenance work..hope this helps...the normal pts is much cheaper 2

pts was a two day course now is a three day course adding the dccr which is mainly track isolation there isnt a pts plus card that ive heard of medical cost me 120 the three day course cost 190 hope this helps

The railway sector is a fantastic career start for young people, if they enjoy manual and physical jobs, this is it.

If you have a son, nephew, neighbour friend between 17-18, we offer funded courses (10 weeks) where they will be able to get a PTS, manua handling training and health & safety as well as a Level 2 in railway engineering.
