Whats the diff?? I was told if i have a pts i can work on both live rails under amd over ground, but lucas you can only work on underground is this true??
Where could i get these cards and how much??

LUL= LONDON UNDERGROUND LINES
PTS= Personal Track Safety,UK MAINLINE
you CAN NOT work on LUL with PTS and vice versa,
You MUST have both tickets to work on both lines.
You have to be employed(sponsored) by a company working on a project that has a mainline or underground line on it.
You may find a company that does the PTS/LUL training that will train you without a sponser but I doubt it.

PTS, 2 day course with network rail medical and drug and alcohol test is around £200( good price )
You can not do the course until you've passed medical and D&A.

LUL, half day course - £80

In a nutshell, pretty much what John said.
I have both tickets and while the differences in PTS work and LUL work aint much, they do require that you have different tickets for both London Underground and Network Rail.

Thanks alot. Any websites will be handy.
