The same trainee asked him for a 6ft tube he measured it up to himself at head height and gave me a 5ft 5in. He's just got a belt and spanner for himself and must have thought he'd grown 7in's.

A 21' WAS A 6m and 4", A 10' was a 3m and 3" ffs
0h! and the scaffold is 100' long 30m wide built in 2m lifts
 
you try and get as much as you can a square but most london firms say your on daywork, but they still judge your work by how much you do.
