Work out a rough guide price by taking the mtr sq area of the roof and multiply by £50-£60 , increase or decrease according to your gut feel for the job and don`t forget to allow for sheeting and toggle ties , also , buttresses and kentledge if req .

This is just an example base price to work from as they are all different

Example - 12m x 7m roof ---- 12 x 7 x 60 = £5040

That would be good access , no obstacles , 10m high max , price would increase quite sharply if anything other than above.

Your gut feeling will be a big factor as you can almost always tell if a job is going to go smoothly or not .

Morning Steve,
I am sure you know you are required by TG20 to get a design for this, that being said the this to be careful of when building this will be adequate ties. The most important ties being the top lift.

Most of these small roofs are to cover an existing roof which is about to be removed once yours is in place. When the existing roof is removed what is holding the wall that you are tied to?

Take care Steve
regards
Alan
