How many man hours to carry 10 ton of gear x 100 yards

I am thinking one man will carry 1 tonne of gear x 100 yards in 3 hours

Price for carrying all that will be knackered joints when you're about 40-45 I reckon. Seriously though, you don't want scaffolders carrying gear, that's for labourers. Scaffolds are better used erecting scaffolding. I'd charge your labourer rate x half again up and down. I don't think there is a set formula as everybody's rates and abilities are different

40 long 20 trips

4 mins a trip standing it up getting it off the wagon included. 4 x 20 = 1 hour 20 min tops

The amount of weight compared to the distance.

Any good chargehand could work this out if not the company would have to supply donkeys!!!
