how do you lads across the water deal with decking out around church pinnacles without setting plank on plank.inspector telling me no way over at st.pats cathederal in nyc.

Is it the small step he doesn't like? I have hears it talked about a few times now with varying methods for dealing with it. Some use an angled fillet so instead of a step there is a gentle slope, less of a trip hazard, others use dead size boards but with the height difference still being there I don't think that helps much. I much prefer the fook him right off method as he is now probably bored and got little else to do with his time, seems to work for me.;)

If he doesnt like board on board give him a 10" step (just enough to get your toeboard in and looks the business), although your lifts are usually over 2m. design dependent?
