pay rise

been busy for a few weeks now, 1 of the lads came up me today, and said we are really busy how about a pay rise,i asked him, do he want that before i pay the bank manger back the money i owe him. After paying you for 18 months, 40 hrs a week,( went you only worked 16 ) because we had no work on, reminded him his money never went down in that 18,months, he looked at me gone out, my reply i thick you have all ready had your pay rise.

I asked for a pay rise last year and the gaffer said ''What extra work are you gonna do tomorrow for more money than work you have done today''

we are gettin the same ask but we arnt out of the woods yet work is steddy but the proper recovery is still a long way ahead
