Quite a statement joe , cant beleave its the anniversary of his death again - I knew john really well but only met paul when he was a spottty teenager & to join up was always on the cards - it was always a surprise he never went to the regiment most sons tend to. It was a sad loss of life & tbh I think thats what put john over the edge - I never attended pauls, but johns funeral was an array of demigods of the armed forces.
