Part 1 training

Can anyone give me some advice?i completed my part 1 course some time back in 2006 and had my red trainee card and that expired in october 2009 is my part 1 still valid or expired? Cheers

my mate is in the same boat. He done his part 1 3 years ago renewed card 18 months ago. his card expires end of this month. His boss has told him his card will go to a labourers card but because he has done the part 1 training he can still go for his part 2 without doing part 1 again. He works for a nasc company. If this is true whats the point of expiry date.

andyv if you havent renewed you part 1 you will beable to its just a cscs touch screen test £30 that then adds another 18mounths to the expiry date but they do run out completly but ya can still do your part2 as there was a lad on my course that had done his part 1, 9 years ago i think it was
