Offshore service companies are restructuring there entire work force and laying off lots of experienced guys with upwards of 20 years service, major projects cancelled and/or shelved, shut downs cut to the bones, offshore is f--k-d for next few years, people will be lucky to get odd trip. Forget offshore for next 2/3/4 years. I would have thought some other experienced offshore guys would have told you all that.

My hubby was laid off end of Jan and heard nothing. Just keep ringing and pestering them.
