Offshore requirements

Hi, can anyone tell me what level of confined space training I need to work offshore? Also which working at heights course I should take? Thanks, Ben
 
you dont need confined space ticket mate ,the company you work for can send you on the course if required ,WAH 2 is the minimum now ,stork put me through mine when i did my induction ,its a 1 day course

Is that not just an in hpuse thing with Stork? Bilfinger do the same only in house.
 
bilfinger is inhouse stork also do it inhouse but i have also done rescue at height with them but it was with an outside trainer so maybe not as useless as thje inhouse one
the fact you are a scaffolder should prove you have w@h traing SG4 ;)
 
Any1 know any offshore companies currently taking on?

Doing my boiset and mist next week at petans Norwich, I know it's a bit quiet out there at the moment, or even any name of offshore companies I could send my cv to?

Try agencies first. They are more likely to take new starts. Get a few trips under your belt then your off.
Good luck with it pal, it's tough out there for the experienced.....
 
its like running in to a brick wall trying to get off i didnt relise they had agencys offshore.
