just need a heads up on what you are entitled to , wages , flights , hotels etc ,
appreciate a heads up lads ???
 
lol , yeah , 2 and a half hour trip to the oilfield too ,, i will look like margerine :wacko:

They will pay the basic train fare from where you live. Pay for your overnight stays but as for the taxi's to and from trainstaion and airport, im afraid your on your own mate. Roughly around £20 there and then same return from airport to station.

Oca agreement read it and make sure u get everything u r entitled to especially if u ever get put on stand-by.r u in the union?if not u should join up if u r planing to work offshore for any length if time.all the best mate .have a good trip.
 
It all depends on the contract you are working on................
Most of the operators are signed up to OCA which means you will be paid at least the OCA rates
Flights - I take it you mean travel to for example Aberdeen? then (as per OCA) wil be entitled to a 2nd class return rail fare.
Hotels - You will entitled to B&B for the night of travel
