although not everyone agrees with the following, in the current climate the nasc, cisrs and The UK Contractors Group seem to run things their way , and as there has been a bit of confusion on exactly where people stand with the qualifications they currently have or are intending to apply for in the future , the following is what is at present classed as the standard
scaffold cards and training
supervisory and training
inspection and training
The UK Contractors Group (UKCG) have recently published some general guidance for the expected level of competence to be in place for persons in an active supervisory role on construction sites upon which their members have a principal contractors role from January 2010.
