obtaining my part 2 portfolio

Hi, i could do with some advice or help!! I have done my part 2 training but nerd o sort my portfolio so i can do my one day assesment and get my part 2 basic card. The problem i have is i work for a company that specialise in renewables energys and scaffolding is a side part of there work... This means they do not have any drawings, method statements or anything else i nerd for my part 2. Also really we only do front and backs so most of the Jobs needed for the portfolio i dont get to do. Any ideas or help appreciated.

your portfolio is it on photographic evidence or you on the new skills web site portforlio
 
your method statements just need adjusting from what you do on a daily basis. as for front and sides that covers your tower and independent they don't ave to be what you do on a daily basis just make the paperwork up as for the other scaffolds just write what you did on the course but change it from the training centre to a live circuit thou you haven't got the experience you've done the course so just put it into writing the company you work for shoud be able to change paperwork to suit job.if not someone may be able to send you a part 2 portpolio to copy just change the wording best of luck mate
 
If your not doing the scaffolds needed to complete your portfolio you shouldn't be allowed to get your part 2 card as your not getting the experience to erect them, you should move to another company to get your experience, then you will have no problem doing your portfolio and assessment.
This is why they brought in tickets is it not.

I Did it about 5 months ago my part two training so must be on the new scheme
 
As for copying portfolios I think they are a thing of the past as once they are signed off they keep them

I myself shall be paying £550 for an induction of the protfolio ( 1 day ) and then the final assessment once its signed off, this is a new scheme ( as I done course yonks ago I need to register again) basically they show you how to fill it out etc which I believe is to do with them getting fed up of ppl sending it in wrong and obviously copying other portfolios

Truss out its a catch 22 situation mate I agree that you shouldn't have card without the experience but because they are £££ grabbing basterds and pressure you into doing the FA before your ready your bang in the middle, I was in the same position as ricey about 8 years ago when I first got a portfolio and that was the pics and drawings etc aka the da vinci code one fooking bollox it was anyway I struggled to do it as I was on a cuplock firm and in the end chucked it away as I had enough of it. As for changing firms It worked wonders for me as I was on a tube and fitting firm ( and like a mug didn't even think of completing portfolio as I always got me £££) but if the £££ ricey is good where you are then ur not realistically gonna jack either way good luck but again I think truss is right a change of firm would be the best bet mate ;)
 
on your part two I believe on the 10 day course is independent on your own independents bridged gantry scaffolding splay scaffolding truss out roof saddle an loading bay you obviously passed to be in the position you are in now and why the feck you have to prove yourself yet again is absolute bellocks these fecken trainers really make me sick submit as much paper work in as possible you will be sent a test paper qcf247 there is 19 questions,qcf643 there is 10 questions,qcf642,11 questions,qcf641,24 questions,qcf248,14 questions,qcf251,12 questions,qcf249,12 questions,and finally qcf252e,16 questions.get onto the training centre book your osat one day then they will send you the question papers above mate if you have any problems ricey pm me and I will run over the question paper with you and sort this bellocks out that men have to go through an cheer up fella I will help you scc.
 
Fair play to you scc. Glad someone is willing to help our fellow scaffs out. This game is hard enough without having to repeat shiit over and over again
