This is an update on my view of Christchurch, NZ. I have been living and working here for just under 6 weeks, love the place. I have to admit, I spent 14months working in the north Island and 17 years in OZ so I knew what to expect to a degree. I had high hopes when I got the job in Christchurch and I have not been disappointed. If you want to come out and you are not a whinging pom, PM me with your CV and I will try help. They are strict on DD here, 2 guys got chucked out of the country for it last week, so if you think this is a party town and all go's, wrong place to come.

Mill's double, I'm an ex mills scaff, 8 years before GKN became Kwikform. Does anyone have a printed document of the design loading of a Mill's double, I was taught my trade with them but never kept any documentation.

No, got a large tent I can pitch in the back yard, the weather is quite warm here so you will survive until you find digs, I'll work out a rate when you arrive.

Is Alan still around ? need to know the Mill's double loading.
