Is this something you have to get through a company your currently working for? Or Can i just go out and get it myself?

If i can go out there and do it myself - How?

"disclousure scotland" is your 1st step, google it.
You MUST have a copy of this before you can get vetted, it cost £28
there are 3 levels, you only need a BASIC disclousure
once you have this you will need the company,
who you are going to work for on the nuclear power station to complete your clearance.

phone the cape recruitment line mate and ask for martin twaddle hes your man for the nuke clearances he will help you if your lucky enough to get a hold of him best of luck.

u got nochance talking to twaddle!!! theres loads of lads already with all the nuclear clearance who are ringing him everyday an there isnt a thing avaliable!!!! but no harm trying! cape have so many idiots working an these nuclear sites its unreal, there aint a clue what they are doing!!!!! bbt guess thats just the way it goes!
