Terrible, anyone heard any further detail?
 
Condolences to his family RIP
Heard the Job he was carrying out was lifeboat related, don't know if it was inside or outside the life boat to early to say,
but a very sad day offshore

Lifeboat work at 2am? Who wrote that permit?
 
I heard of my mate rah he was 60 year old, servicing a life boat and the catch some how released and dropped in the drink and took the poor fella with it. R I P.
 
weeverbix its a sad fact that all over side work doesnt end at daylight
me and a good friend were on the maersk innovator alongside the golden eye and the SCABSEILLERS were overside in the night.
me and my friend brought this up at the town hall meeting only to be shot down WELL NEARLY by the SHELL MAN saying its obviously its all been risk assesed.

RIP to the man on the Harding and condolences to the family. From my time offshore I believe this is not the first time this has happened where a boat has fell with someone doing work inside.
