Hi Everyone,
Originally from Ireland - hence the mono, Spent 25 years happily working in England.
Went to Bircham Newton in 89 / 90 - Not Cecol.
Worked with Taylor Woodrow Construction in London area with Dave Keightley, Paul Randal, Joe Cacia, Ted Vidler & Peter Long. Left Scaffolding in 97 and continued in Construction Management. Got pulled back to Scaffolding 4 years ago in Management. Have been living and working on the spanner in Perth, Australia for the last 6 months.
Have known of the forum but never participated in it - I have been reading some of the information, chats and discussions and I must say that Garry & Paddy are very knowlegable guys - impressed !
It is great to have somewhere that the voice of the worker is heard, old can give advice to the young and where old mates can chat / catch up on old times - Well Done to the Organisers !.
Does anyone know the Scaffolders song about the bacon roll ? - Joe Cacia use to sing it to me in the mornings when I was a sprog.
