Howdy fellas

I'm New in this Scaffholding game just coming to the finish of a 16 week diploma at Simian .
Experience and knowledge on part 1 & 2 builds along with a level 2 diploma also got my trainee card .
Looking for work in the north west preferably Liverpool any help would be much appreciated .

Nice one

Not on an actual site no mate but its been all hands on in the training centre if you can class that as a site like .

Basically just gives me my trainee card but I did all my part 1 & 2 builds but don't get them tickets for it good thing is its government funded and they pay for my parts .

Good luck to you Kane, I'm sure someone will appreciate the effort you have put in trying to improve your employment chances. This is not a dig at you or the route you have chosen to go down, but FFS 16 weeks to get a trainee card, what is that all about? I was just having a wee moan to myself as one of our apprentice's goes away for 3 weeks to do a part 1 he is capable of doing in under a week and then you hear this.

I know bit of a joke tbh as the course could easily be completed in a month but its my own fault for not doing my homework and thinking its the only way to get in the game

Who cares Kane, the most important thing is you are on your way, so the best of luck to you buddy.

Absolutely aom. Not knocking the lad or anyone who wants to add skills etc. But 16 weeks to get a trainee card? Are the training schools pulling the government and the tax payers pants down?

Kane g, Welcome to the forum and all the best for the future.
