Nice to see you are giving some thought to the advertisers of jobs on the forum.

I believe Downtown for Jobs is our only sponser in this field, the other agencies are free loaders and have over the past weeks being cause for concern as regards the wage rates offered.

Personaly I think some of the rates offered are an insult to the members of this board.I think they are riding rough-shod over the principles this Forum holds dear.

Similar to somebody coming into your home,sitting down feet on coffee table letting off a nice big fart and then coming on large if you complain :mad:

The other side of the coin is they do make offers of work to members that otherwise would not be aware of the vacancies.

What scaffolders will work for is thier own business.

What Jobs are advertised on this Forum is our collective business

I contacted a number of employment agencies and none of them were willing to support the forum.

What a double edged sword that is!

Happy to advertise the jobs, which of course is wanted on the forum but not willing to support the forum with the money made on job placements :(

Good thing we don't all behave like that!
