need a job, keep getting sent to jobs for 1 or 2 days miles away, help

did a week at baglan bay southwales, supposed to be 12 hrs a day for 2-3 weeks, ended up being 10hrs a day for a week, then went lindsey oil refinery on friday 102 miles each way, to be turned away because they didn't have me booked in for an induction & today drove to york 186mile round trip for a days pay, supposed to be rest of week, anyone know anything decent sick of being on a piece of string.

advanced 22 yrs experience, ccnsg safety passport, asbestos awareness, ipaf 3a/3b, honest & reliable will travel for right money & don't mind digging it, would prefer manchester, liverpool, west yorkshire areas if possible, references available & a c.v.

I could get you on at my firm they are screaming for men, advanced would probably be 135 to 140 per day in central London, on Trad, drop me a line if you are interested and ill give you a number:D

done steve and try offshore work will pick up there soon digs paid food paid sortid mate
 
i don't really fancy offshore tbh, i would struggle with the survival course, inside the mock helicopter, upside down revolving in nthe dark, i would panic:nuts:
 
iv done it 3 times mate and your not in the dark, There are divers their too look after you and every time iv done it there are folk there that cant even swim and are scared of water, i watched a guy fisicaly shakin in the water(not with the cold haha cause it IS) but cause he was scared of water and they got him threw it i still wonder why if yer scared of water why work offshore tho? MONEY hahaha
 
ive heard that d.s.l. are doing a shutdown at fawley refinery in bout 4 weeks time dont know how long it is though

I've been calling mark and graham at fawley since first week in january, they keep putting me off for four weeks, I have finished chasing the hallowed turf of the blue book, happy where I am now, getting a good wage over 500 so it suits me.
 
when i rang fawley they said they where taking on local at the mo but to call in 4 weeks i rang dsl head office an they put you through to them 01924378222 good luck
 
Scaffolder - £18.50 an hour, Natural Resources


The position is based in Sløvåg, Norway.
There has been a 12day rotation confirmed for definite, although more may be arranged but that it is still to be confirmed.

All accommodation and travel and food is provided.

You would be expected to fly out on Thursday 6th May and begin work on Friday 7th May and work 12, 12 hour days continuously until the 18th May when we would then fly you home...

i think its onshore mate i just seen it in scaffolding jobs take a look iv worked in Norway before and its ok
