The Role:
-Industrial experience
- Provide support and advice to the site teams
- Provide HS&E advice onsite
- Support the development of HS&E management capability within the Division

The Candidate:
- NEBOSH qualification. Minimum of General/Construction cert, ideally working in the Scaffolding Industry
- A track-record of delivery within a Scaffold & Access discipline
- Hands-on safety experience across multi-site operations

PERSONAL PROFILE
I have a track record working within leadership roles in Oil & Gas/ Power Generation and the construction industries and can effectively manage teams associated to large complex projects. I have quality and training management experience and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to maintain strong relationships with internal and external personnel, at all levels. Enthusiasm in delivering positive behavioural safety management cultures for the industries specified. Other competencies are a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, tact and diplomacy, and the ability to positively influence and motivate all that I work with. I am also I.T literate in applicable databases, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
2013 - Current Position Brett Martin Building Products Ltd
I currently hold the position of facilities manager covering three sites located at Staveley, Luton and Cumbernauld. My role is to ensure compliance with group health safety & environment policies. To ensure all subcontractors are vetted and have adequate health and safety documentation before commencing work on site. I also ensure regulatory inspections and maintenance are carried out across all sites to comply with health and safety legislation and environmental permits that the company are required to adhere to.

2010-2013 Deborah Services Ltd (Drax Power Station)
I took over the role of health & safety advisor for DSL at Drax Power Station. My main duty was to ensure that operatives and management were compliant with DSL site procedures I would estimate 80% of my time was spent out on site. I also formulated risk and method statements for scaffolding activities in various locations around site, these include work on the boiler and the re-heater drum. In addition to the above I was also involved with project co-ordination with subcontractors Conducted job sites safety and environmental audits which included the completion of documentation of compliance and corrective actions taken.
2006- 2010 Safety & Access Ltd (CISRS Training Centre)
In 2007 I started work as a consultant for Safety & Access. My role involved visiting clients sites to ensure safe working practices were being carried out by subcontractors I was also involved with preparing and reviewing corporate health & safety policies. Formulating company procedures, method statements and working practices for associated practices. Clients included Carillion, Balfour Beatty, Kier, North Midland Construction and Total/ Lindsey Oil Refinery
1987-2006
I worked for a number of scaffolding companies as a scaffold erector/supervisor
