Has anybody had any experience with the above mentioned training provider with the part 1?
If you have is it any good.

I've done 1, 2 & advanced there. As far as I was concerned it was good. Depends on the lads you are with and your level of experience before you do the course. They do try to match you up to make equal ability gangs as best they can.

Only ball ache is home time as lifford lane heading to pershore rd (under bridge) is poo!!

what about digs and food etc? any good or had to find your own?
 
Ncc birmingham is a shiit hot center mate, done my part 2, advanced and supervisors there. If you get tony barry and tom brown then you'll be getting the two best instructors.
Theres digs near by and the food on campus is not bad, cheap and chearful.
 
I'm local so just traveled in/out, but there have always been lads who have digged.

There are plenty of boozers around so food should not be too much of a problem. As Den said the onsite canteen is actually quite good and very cheap.
 
Ncc bham dont actually have on site accom,although theres a really cheep canteen for breakfast & lunch.
The middleton hall hotel(01214 587675) -sounds posher than it actually is- is where all my guys have stayed its just over £30per nite b& b & only a short walk to the colledge but dont expect to much for ur money lol.
the standard of training at birmingham is no differnt from any of the ncc but tbh they were bit anal about the paperwork & timekeeping side
 
The paperwork is abit anal SP, but thats all part of the course and timekeeping well again you wouldn't want lads turning up late at your gaff for work and affecting your day/plans.
 
I am currently at Safety & Access in Notts the Instructor we had the 1st week was so bad we had to complain the man was a waste if space, his name was Martin something, then changed Instructors and he was very knowledgable and experienced, I would stick with Birmingham my friend.
