Heard there was a lot of work coming to mossmorran power station in March 2014.

Any one heard this? If so do you know who has the contract?

I know cape are in there at the moment.
 
Cape aren't going to be there much longer, wood group are going to be handling the scaffolding contract themselves on the shell side after buying Pyeroy, DSL still have the contract on the Exxon side
 
Pyeroy are already in they took over from cape at the end of December I did the stock take for cape when they were selling the gear to pyeroy... So I would contact them for a start
 
This was predicted in October that Pyeroy would be moving in to this site
The next step is to take Cape out in the offshore game all BP northern contracts up in march for tender .
WG/PSN are the main player will try to land the fabric maintenance to there new fabric maintenance branch
so watch this space or get your offshore details in to Pyeroy and WG/PSN

The above is correct , all cape scaffs tuppeed over to pyeroy who are now part of woodgroup psn. No starts for scaffs on the shell side at moment contract has been cut to 38 hrs.
 
Regarding the 38Hr week this will open up at the end of the tax year this will give any tax breaks to the new incoming company.
When and if Pyeroy take any offshore contracts it should be the same T&C as the last contractor
If they take over any contract offshore they will down man to the bare core team and offload any Adhoc crews
Then they will up man with new starts keep any long terms men off there books .
Any long term Adhoc cape scaffs will get put back in the cape offshore pool .
Cape can keep Adhoc crews on there books if they want to.
if you want to transfer over you will have to jack to change over,
as the TUPE agreement only apply s onshore
So if any offshore scaffs are watching this post I suggest you get your self in the union as there could be trouble ahead they will do there Job to protect you if you are put through this process
 
Anyone got email or phone number for pyeroy?
 
I know lads that were working for them on some railway jobs up here just over a year ago. bam nuttal was the MC and I was on for them. Sh1t payers on PTS jobs according to those lads. Hope it's not their policy across the board.
 
They are not good payers full stop I work for them! They make millions and for over time we get an extra £1 on the rate for in the week and Saturdays and £2 for Sundays! If they sorted that out the would be a really good firm!
 
as long as people work for shiite rates then thats what they will offer.
the shell site at the moss is on a union agreement which mirrors the bluebook with conditions and pay.;)
 
It was DSL on the other side I worked mate but from what a hear from a couple of mates the Pyeroy side is a cushy number
 
It was a good number when cape were in a couple of years ago night shift was a blinder but heard things have tightened up a bit since Pyeroy took over. Anyway good luck mate hope it works out for u.
 
Wouldntnwork for pyerob again. Featched over 12 Romanians paid there flights accommodated them took them shopping and paid for all there tools and guess what paying them £7 pH. Feking shocking lads
