Yes, I do. They got bought out by SGB in the early 1990's did they not?
 
Yes they did with 4 other firms, Intercity, parkers, The others can't think of was on LMS for 21 years with my old friend JC John Cant,

Mick,
My Brother Mickey Marks did a bit for them along with Freddy Reynolds. SGB swallowed them up as you know and I took over after they dissolved them. So we're back mate :)

Welcome to the forum Mick. I remember L&M being absorbed into the SGB group, along with Parkers etc. From what I remember the late Bill Purkiss was put in overall control of the collection of small companies at that time. Then, with the slump of the early 1990's SGB/Mowlem closed a lot of depots and all these small companies went by the wayside. L&M were a particularly good little outfit at that time.

Hi Mick, yes i worked on there about 30 odd years ago,Sainsburys at Barkingside & office block Upper Thames st, think Westminster scaffolding was another firm that was bought out at the time.
