No formula BF just worked it out in my head the same as you.

Its a trick I was taught by an old red indian tracker called rising foot who used to work for SGB.

Tube = 48.3mm diameter, therefore: 1,000mm (1m) / 48.3mm = 20.7 tubes wide per m.
It is also 20.7 tubes high, so 20.7 x 20.7 = 428.49 tubes, multiplied by 1m = 428.49m per metre cubed. 10,000 lineal metres / 428.49 = 22.32 cubic metres.

Im pretty sure thats right.

We may be at cross purposes here. have you worked out the cubic metre space you would need to pack in 10,000 linear metres of tube?

Is it Birdcage, or independant or are you filling a container?

If you are looking for erected volumes,
Birdcage what would be anticipated grid size and lift hts.
Independant what Crs , what lifts how many boards wide?
