I know they have their place, generally high tower blocks, but they are now appearing on 3 storey buildings

Have lost 2 jobs to mast climbers recently, for BRICKWORK :amazed:
seems to be in favour with some MCG at the moment, speed & program is the key

How their safety inspectors turn a blind eye to the gaps though is shocking

anyone else out there seen them moving into our market?
If not you probably will do soon....

Spent a year working in America, mastclimbers and jack up scaffold is mostly all they use outside of NY, which is all frames and cradles.

Must be putting the kit out for nowt, set up and yard costs are high but some machines can free stand 12 m, no ties makes the trades happy.

Yank machines run on diesel or petrol so no 3 phase power needed.

Still its expensive kit compared to scaffold like

Hswt, spot on as always, klimer and Fraco make 30 m freestanding bits of kit.

Big machines, not too handy around small jobs, they both make smaller machines aswell.

Jay Gordon owns Klimer, ex alimak, good guy.

30 m freestanding still = Brown trousers for me:wacko:

I think they have guardrails on inside and exclusion zones thats proberly why HSE over look them I am sure the brickies will fuc it up somehow
