March 16th is exactly 2 years to the day that a fellow called scotontour posted an advertisement on the Scaffolders Forum for men to work in Algeria. Apparently hundreds applied only six was chosen.
This job advert has become the most talked about subject in scaffolding circles from Queensland to Montivideo.
Where are the six now? What happened to the hundreds who wasn't chosen?
Did the Algeria job get finished by cheap labour?
The story continues.

I was one of the hundreds that applied ..... Sob , I wanted to live the dream in Algeria . There I've said it , if my world record attempt staircase was a few treads higher I could have been a contender . A year on and I still have the sun cream, the visa form and a worn copy of " popular Algerian phrases for scaffolders"
